- Before you connect the system to any external hardware
- At any point you wish to verify the systems functionality
Why ON-BOARD Self Test™? - Combined with XANALOG’s quick start manual, ON-BOARD Self Test will allow you to get up and running in real time quickly out of the box.
- The ON-Board Self Test Models are normal SIMULINK or NL-SIM models. You can use them as an easy starting point to building your own real time simulations.
- By checking the functionality of the XANALOG system before it is connected to your Unit Under Test, you can focus on troubleshooting your product, and not on the system to test it.
- ON-BOARD Self Test is not a recommended replacement for calibration, but rather a functional test of the system to make sure that it is operating properly before connection to an external system.
